People always ask me, HOW?
HOW do you start loving yourself? HOW do you “glow” brighter when you’re feeling a little dingy?
If you’re feeling like your glow is dimmed, or you’re just ready to shine even brighter, the first step is to figure out what’s missing.
Here’s a quick and powerful exercise to help you uncover the gap:
- Who is your ideal self? What type of woman is she? How does she live her days, show up in the world, and care for herself? What does she wear? Get a vivid picture of her in your mind.
- What are the differences between your current self and your ideal self? Take note of the specifics.
- What keeps you from being your ideal self? Is it fear of failure, time, money, confidence, confusion, or even shame? Write it down.
Here’s the good news: all of these are solvable problems.
- Fears can be conquered.
- Time can be managed and prioritized.
- Money can be earned.
- Confidence can be cultivated.
- Confusion can be clarified.
- Shame can be released and eradicated.
Once you identify the gap (hint: you’ve already started clearing up confusion!), glowing up becomes a fun and efficient process instead of just another item on your to-do list.
I’d love to hear from you! Hit reply and tell me: Where is the gap for you? Did this exercise bring you any clarity around what’s holding you back?
Your glow is closer than you think.
