Why not use something we have to do everyday (well, at least typically 😉) as a way to make us feel AMAZING?
We’re on Week 4 of our 6 Weeks to Ignite Your Glow Series, and I have something really cool to tell you today. (If you missed my earlier post and it’s nugget of wisdom, go HERE to catch up.)
We spend 90% of our lives in clothing—unless you’re in a nudist colony (power to you 👊). So, it stands to reason that we should REALLY LIKE those items we put our wonderful bodies in.
But a lot of us have trouble with it, for various reasons.
But I say, what if getting dressed was easy—and dare I say, fun?
It can be, and it starts with something as simple as color.
When I get dressed, I don’t worry about body shape, size, or following trends. Instead, I start with one question: What’s my intention for the day?
From there, I choose a color that matches my desired vibe.
🟡 Want to feel sunny and optimistic? Yellow.
🔵 Need calm and focus? Blue.
❤️ Looking to exude confidence and love? Red.
Using color as your compass takes the pressure off “what to wear” and makes the process intuitive, empowering, and fun. It’s how I began transforming my wardrobe—and my life.
I even use color as my basis for shopping, especially when I realized I had a closet full of mostly black, white, and beige—great colors but didn’t align with the brightness and variety my soul was craving. Adding intentional color completely changed how I showed up for myself and the world.
Want to try this for yourself?
I created a free resource called Dress Like a Goddess in 90 Seconds. It includes a quick and easy color chart to help you pick your color for the day and walks you step by step through this process (in less than 90 seconds!). Get it here.
Comment and tell me, what is getting dressed like for you? Do you usually feel like a Goddess in your clothing? Do you think about color when you shop or when you go to put something on for the day?
Let me know! I’d love to support you.
P.S. Are you Green with envy over your friend’s wardrobe? Are you feeling BLUE? Don’t worry – I’ve got something big, shiny, and yellow for you! See what in the world I’m talking about HERE.
